Moontoast Named #2 Top Music Startup of 2011 by Billboard Magazine

We are honored that Moontoast was named the #2 “Top 10 Music Startups of 2011″ by Billboard Magazine in this week’s cover story. The focus of the article was identifying new startups who are “solving problems of the evolving music market with innovative technologies and creative business models.” Organizations were selected using the criteria that they exhibit the best chance of helping foster growth in the digital space while also taking advantage of “viral marketing opportunities offered by social platforms such as Facebook and Twitter.” It’s an honor to be placed on a list that last year featured Rdio and Kickstarter who have since experienced tremendous growth. This is another cool milestone in the path we are blazing to enable brands to bring commerce everywhere. Congratulations to Turntable.fm who was king of the hill at #1 as well as all the other great companies who made the cut.
