We’re super excited to announce the latest version of the original Moontoast app, the Moontoast SocialStore 2.0!
What’s new? For starters, products are now front and center, displayed on a carousel where fans can quickly scroll through to learn more about the items featured in a curated offer. Important information like the product name and description are clearly presented below the highlighted item. When the featured product thumbnail is clicked, an overlay displays multiple images of the chosen product. Fans can easily checkout with a credit card and are prompted to share the offer to their favorite social networks post-purchase.
Best of all, the Moontoast SocialStore 2.0 is built to make offers shine in the Facebook News Feed and Timeline. And as always, the SocialStore 2.0 can be embedded anywhere on the web to enable impulse buys wherever fans are located.
Realtime Comes to the Moontoast Social Analytics Suite
One of the best things about launching a campaign is watching the engagement and sales come in. To better display realtime orders, we built a new Realtime page in the Moontoast Social Analytics Suite. This valuable data lets Moontoast clients see which stores are performing the best and which are lagging behind and helps them quickly optimize the messaging to get the most out of each campaign.
Every 30 seconds the Realtime tab will update information including total items sold, total orders, average order size, and total revenue. Top selling products are also listed, displaying how many have sold of each, and the total revenue generated by each product.
There’s also line-by-line data on transactions by brand, campaign, and store. And last but not least, a list of the individual transactions with when, and where, the transaction was placed.
Realtime allows Moontoast clients to better gauge their social campaigns at the moment they need that data the most: right after launching their event. By gathering important information as soon as possible, clients can make more informed decisions about their campaigns and drive greater results.
Other Just-As-Awesome Updates
While the SocialStore 2.0 and Realtime certainly steal the show, there are plenty of other killer updates our team has been working:
Moontoast AdStore – The AdStore loads even quicker and now has the ability to present larger, multiple images of the featured product. Check it out on RideAbove.com!
Mobile Branding – For the mobile store checkout, an image can be included to provide an overall branded experience.
Listings and Pagination – Products and Storefronts in the Moontoast Control Panel are now listed with important information like inventory levels and price for Products and store type and campaign assignment for Storefronts. Administrators can search for each by name or filter results by type.
Hide Products and Stores – It doesn’t take long for the products and storefronts to add up, so we’ve added the ability to hide products or stores that are no longer in use. It’s easy to find them again, though, by filtering by status. Hidden items can also be reactivated at any time.
